Cuban State Airline Says US Sanctions Force It to End Routes

HAVANA – Cuba’s state airline Cubana says it’s canceling routes to seven worldwide locations due to Trump administration sanctions on corporations that lease planes to the nationwide service.

The Trump administration stated final Friday that it was revoking licenses of corporations that lease plane to Cuban state-owned airways as a result of the airways use the planes to take vacationers to Cuba. U.S. laws prohibit Individuals from participating in tourism in Cuba.
