Even though the US presidential election results are in, Trump and his supporters — the MAGAhats — refuse to accept them.
Exercising their right to act stupid, the gang tried to show their support for their leader by holding the Million MAGA March in Washington, D.C. on Saturday (November 14). The protest was filled with people insisting Trump should remain in office for another four years and was attended by various hate groups including the Proud Boys. It’s unclear how many of them were there, but the media think thousands or tens of thousands of people showed up.
And this number probably could’ve been bigger if it wasn’t for pancakes. You see, the hashtag #MillionMAGAMarch has been used by Trump supporters on Twitter to organize and coordinate march, but actor Shea Depmore started the idea for hijacking it, saying: “We are not going to go and counter-protest in person. We’re gonna take over their hashtag instead.”
She then asked people to “fill the hashtag … here on Twitter, anywhere that has hashtags with pancakey goodness.” Depmore also suggested fans use the #MAPA2020 hashtag (‘Make America Pancakes Again’).
