Saraki and other senators who decamped to the PDP have been punished by Nigerians for being disloyal - Oshiomhole

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Nationwide Chairman Adams Oshiomhole has said that the 16 Senators led by former Senate President Bukola Saraki who decamped to the Individuals’s Democratic Occasion (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been ”punished” by Nigerians by way of the poll field following their failure to get reelected. 

 

Oshiomhole who famous that solely Dino Melaye is remaining whereas talking to State Home correspondents when he led a delegation to current Bayelsa State Governor-elect David Lyon to President Muhammadu Buhari, stated the lawmakers had been punished for being disloyal. 

 

He stated: “All the 16 senators who decamped together with Senator Bukola Saraki from APC to PDP, exhausting as they have tried to come again, the Nigerian folks of their respective constituencies have insisted on punishing them for being disloyal.

“I feel the just one who continues to be struggling now’s Dino Melaye, however as you’ll be able to see from the consequence up to now, Senator Good Adeyemi is main by over 20,000 votes.

“Although INEC insists we should have a re-run for the remaining areas, we’re assured that there isn’t any approach he could make up for 20,000 vote deficit.

“I think the lesson for us to be learnt as a party is rather clear, that when politicians go to the polls to collect mandate on a particular political platform and then they dump the party for another party, the electorate will always be waiting for them.”
