KWASU lecturer and student die in road accident

A Kwara State College (KWASU) lecturer and a postgraduate student of the establishment reportedly died in an accident that occurred on Monday October 18. 

 

A college bus carrying 15 employees and college students was concerned in the accident which occurred at  Minna-Lambata road.

 

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who commiserated with the households of the deceased stated in an announcement “We’re devastated by this unhappy growth involving one feminine lecturer and an MSc student who left a heart-wrenching message that the federal government has taken word of. As believers, we undergo the desire of God on this growth. We condole with the households of the deceased and your complete college group. We urge them to remain sturdy in this very making an attempt second. 

“We additionally specifically commend all the primary responders who helped to take them to the hospitals and supported them, together with Prof. Musa Aibinu, head of division of Mechatronics Engineering on the Federal College of Expertise (FUT) Minna; Honourable Liman Shuaib representing Suleja (Abuja); employees and administration of Faculty of Well being Expertise, Minna; Lambatta Medical Centre; Izon Normal Hospital; the Federal Road Security Corps (FRSC); and the police, amongst others.”

 

Related authorities in the state have been directed to rapidly take over the medical care of the injured.
