Ria Money Transfer is a financial institution which specializes in money remittances. The company is a subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. and is the world’s 3rd largest money transfer service in the world.
After initiating a money transfer with Ria, a number is generated for that transaction and usually mailed to the sender. The number is called Order number, PIN, or Reference number, and it can be used to track the transfer till it reaches the receiver.
Tracking your money with Ria is a very easy thing and I’ll show you how to do so in few simple steps.
Tracking Your Ria Money Transfer
There are two ways to tracking a money transfer on Ria.
Firstly, you can track your transfer using the Ria mobile app; however, the app is not yet available for users in Nigeria.
If you’re outside Nigeria and your country is supported, you can install the My Ria ES app from Play Store and use it.
The second method is using the Track a Transfer tool online.
To track your Ria money transfer, follow the below procedure:
- Open Ria’s Track a Transfer tool in your web browser.
- After the page has fully loaded, you’ll see a form at the top of the page.
- Input your transfer order number, PIN, or reference number in the text field.
- Tap on the Search button.
If you entered the current number in the text field, details about the current status of your transfer will be provided to you.
How to Pick Up Your Ria Money Transfer
When your money transfer is available for pickup, you’ll need the PIN provided to you and a valid ID that carries the same name on the transfer to collect it.
In Nigeria, cash pickup is not yet available. The only way to receive money is having it sent directly into your bank account.
A Ria money transfer usually takes around four business days to be completed, and an extra two days if you’re in Nigeria.
