Banter And The Mess
After the Saturday Night Party, the Pepper Dem Gang had a gist in the Garden. Afterward, the drama was served.
Know why we always look forward to Saturdays in the Pepper Dem House? You guessed right, it’s what goes down after the Night Party. Yesterday was no exception. There were jokes, banter, reactions and a certain Housemate couldn’t hold down his liquor.
The Fear Of Strikes
The Fear of Biggie’s Strikes is indeed the beginning of wisdom. The Pepper Dem Gang have taken a cue from Tacha and Ike. So rather than getting at each other’s throats as they always do after the Party, they instead directed their energy on making each other laugh. From a talk on Nollywood to Ike and Elozoman serving us gist about their acting career, it’s a new after-party vibe. Biggie’s Strikes must have echoed in their ears as they controlled their tongues and, of course, anger.
Crickets And Hush
After what she felt was way too much time in the Garden, Venita told Mike, Sir Dee and Elozonam that they should all head to bed. In response, Mike asked everyone to keep quiet and listen. After some seconds, he said “crickets” which cracked Sir Dee and Elozonam up. The look on Venita’s face showed her displeasure with that remark. But what could she do about it? Who dares to challenge the lion kingwhen he talks? To spice it up, he looked at Venita and further said, “Why are you announcing it?”
A New Regime
It is interesting to see how much fun being the HoH can be. We have Khafi to thank for this. Apart from her hugs after a battery change, she appears to be the only Head of House who is not authoritative. In the lounge, she was seen with a pen and paper writing down the cleaning roster for the day. If you saw her, you might think that the cup of Khafi was playing out her high school days where the captain had to write down the name of the noisemakers in the classroom. Well, that’s Khafi’s reign, a blend of diplomacy and fun.
Someone had messed up the room and Venita made it her sole mission to be the reporter on the scene with the breaking news. Here’s how it all started. Having had too much booze, Ike had threw up in the room.
This action irritated all the Housemates, especially Mike who asked, “Next to my bed?” The next thing we saw was Venita cleaning the mess, not after chiding the gangster of course. Mercy joined in to help clean up her boo’s mess. Venita’s kind deed didn’t go unnoticed, you saw it too.
Venita is helpin mercy clean up Ike’s 🤮🤮

An enraged Mercy told Venita that the reason she scolded Ike was not that he puked, but the fact that he blamed her for taking the bucket away when he needed to throw up in it. All this while, Ike was already in bed listening. Shortly after Venita left, Mercy joined him in bed and just like lovebirds that never stay mad at each, Ike told her “Thank you, sweety. Sorry about what I said.”
Evictions in a bit, but the Housemates have kept the mood cheerful with light-hearted conversations and jokes.
Recap With Venita
Venita gave a recap of how it well went down after the Saturday Night Party to Seyi’s Dismay. Reminding him of how flirtatious he got with Cindy and brought him up to speed on Ike vomiting and the near altercation he almost had with Mercy. She also told him how much she enjoyed telling Mike he was going to end up sleeping in Ike’s puke. Guess she’s still hurt by the jokes Mike made about her the night before. Shocked by the revelation that he got flirty with Cindy, Seyi promptly apologised to her, but not before she made jokes as she exaggerated what went down between them.
While waiting her turn to get her hair done in time for the Live Eviction Show, Esther got served by the trio of Seyi, Sir Dee and Elozonam. The trio took turns in teasing her and making fun about her mean demeanour. “If I have stubborn kids, I will call Aunty Esther for you,” Sir Dee poked further forcing Esther to playfully attack him with her fist. Esther and Sir Dee were both Nominated for possible Eviction along with their team – Legends and it was nice seeing them in a cheerful mood in spite of this. Sometimes, it can be quite hard for the Housemates to keep their cool in the face of this.
The Team from Darling NG came through like they usually do every Sunday to work their magic on Housemates up for Eviction. This time it was the turn of Team Legends to get that fresh look. If Frodd was sad that he got Nominated back to back, then maybe having the Darling team give him a clean-cut two weeks in a row put the smile on his face. Esther would definitely be pleased with his look. Mercy and Diane looked on as Venita had her hair did and for a moment we wondered if they didn’t wish they were also Nominated too so they could have the Darling NG team work their magic on them too.
Live Eviction: Esther And Sir Dee’s Exit
What’s the Big Brother Naija Live Show without some Eviction vibes? With this week’s Eviction twist, here’s how it all went down on the BB Naija stage.
Made To Slay
As is the norm, Ebuka our fine Host, stepped on the stage in a custom made outfit threaded by Vanskere. We like to point out that we weren’t the only ones who saw his designer’s outfit as the screams from the crowd told us that they appreciated every stitch put into the outfit Ebuka wore like a second skin. Let’s even check something, with the way he keeps peppering us with his outfits every Sunday, wouldn’t it be right to say Ebuka is part of the Pepper Dem Gang?
Anyway, we see you Ebuka and we have taken necessary notes to slay the way you effortlessly do.
The Eviction Twists
What? Going straight into Eviction on the Live Show? We sure didn’t see that coming. Anyway, in the Big Brother House, anything is possible.
The Housemates just had a surprise visit by Jidenna and right after that, they got thrown into the Eviction den. It’s truly the Pepper Dem Season. Unfortunately, the victim of this twist was Esther as she made her way out of the BB Naija House as the thirteenth Housemate to be Evicted.
More to the Eviction twists, tonight’s Live Show served us an interesting chat with one of the hottest international music stars, Jidenna. In his chat with Ebuka, he revealed how impressed he was with the production of the Big Brother Naija show. He also sounded excited as he told us that he would be going back into the House to serve some pepper to the Pepper Dem Gang. You don’t want to miss this, stay tuned!
Performing for the first time on the BB Naija stage, LAX brought some ‘Gwara ‘Gwara’ moves to our screens. As e dey hot on the stage, our very own Rasaki also dished out some ‘Ginger’ as he entertained the audience with his captivating performance.
Closing the show, he thrilled us with his sit single ‘Runaway’ and kept the ladies screaming as though he sang the lyrics to him. Thank you LAX, you’ll forever be engraved on the BB Naija stage for your wonderful performance.
Let’s Go Shake Some Tables
At this point, you already know who the president of the table shaking association is. Tonight was no different as Ebuka crossed into the House to shake and perhaps scatter some well-arranged tables.
Starting with Ike, Ebuka asked him about his Save and Replace decision. Here, Ike admitted that he Saved Omashola because, “whether he knows it or not, Omashola is part of the reasons he’s still in the House.”
In his chat with Ebuka, Mike admitted to having had conversations with Elozonam, Sir Dee and Tacha regarding Frodd’s attitude in the House. In his words, Frodd is overly defensive and every Housemate understands this; for this reason, they’ve decided to allow him to be himself.
This week’s HoH happily told Ebuka that with Gedoni out of the House, she decided to step up her game and not take things for granted, hence her drive to keep celebrating more wins in the game. Well done, Khafi!
A Curtain Call For Esther and Sir Dee
Like performers giving a final bow at the end of a show, Esther has bowed out of the Big Brother Naija game, leaving her as the thirteenth Pepper Dem Housemate to be Evicted from the House. While this spelled the end of the road for these two, it was an opportunity for Venita, Cindy, Frodd, and Tacha to still get a shot at the game as they revealed in their reactions after Ebuka announced that they were all safe. From the expressions on their faces, one could tell they were grateful to still be in the game.
“It is what it is,” said Esther when asked about how she felt to be gracing the stage tonight. To the anticipation of all, Ebuka went ahead to ask her how she felt about her two love-interests in the House – Nelson, and Frodd. Following her initial rejection of the latter, Esther revealed to Ebuka that she later got to know Frodd and found him to be a sweet guy. “To be determined,” was the answer she gave Ebuka when asked about the future of a relationship with either of the men outside the House. Well, we’ll definitely be on the lookout for this.
To wrap up her chat with Ebuka on the stage, Esther said her major highlight in the House, was winning the HoH title twice and being the first female Housemate to sit on the throne. With her plans to explore the entertainment world after the show, we can’t wait to see her excel in her acting plans. Watch out Nollywood!
Watch Esther’s Pepper Dem race here
Being the second Housemate to be Evicted from the House tonight and the fourteenth Housemate to take a bow from the Pepper Dem Season, Sir Dee was welcomed on the stage with loud cheers.
When asked about having feelings for Diane, the resident cool dude said he only had a “brother, sister” relationship with her and did not feel anything more for her. To him, he wouldn’t have had anything with Tacha in the House because he considered her as “too hot” to be in a relationship with.
He plans to go into his passion for graphics design and plans to take the business seriously outside the House. In addition, he would like to delve into the entertainment industry and try his hands on whatever may come his way in that field. Watch this space guys, Sir Dee is coming to your screens.
Here’s a sneak peek into his journey
As Ebuka said, Housemates, make sure you’re counted at the end of the Season. On this note, let’s anticipate a tighter race ahead for the Pepper Dem Housemates.
Seyi Wins Veto Power Title
After a game of high stakes, Seyi has won the Veto Power title.
As usual, the Veto Power Game is a Game of Chance with each Housemates having an equal probability of winning. For having the least amount of marbles at the end of the Game, Seyi has become the Veto Power Holder for this week. This is the second time, he will receive the Veto Power badge in the Big Brother Naija House.
Housemates, Take Your Positions!
There were twelve stools with a silver cup on it. The Housemates were to pick a stool and stand in front of it for the game. Once they chose their playing stand, they were not allowed to change or swap position. Well, minds have been made we think.
Once that has been settled, the Housemates were to pick a card from the magic hat. Two types of cards existed in the hat. The first type of cards is those with single digits’ zero to six while the second type of cards had the instruction “pass two marbles to the person next to you.”
Having understood the rules of the Game, the Housemates proceeded to pick a card and place the corresponding number of marbles into their cups.
A Game Of Three Rounds
In the first round, the Housemates with the most marble were eliminated. In this case, it was Ike and Mike (hmm, this their bromance reared its head in the game too).
The process was repeated in the second round and the Housemates collected marbles which were added to the previous ones they had. When this round was over and the scores tallied, Venita and Omashola were out of the game for having the most marbles.
The third round saw Frodd, Seyi, Tacha, Cindy, Khafi, Elozonam, Mercy and Diane go through the card and marble process again.
We Have A Tie
At the end of the third round, there was a tie between Seyi and Tacha. Both Housemates had three marbles each which made the game extend into another round. This time, Seyi won as he had the least amount of marbles. With his position came 100 Bet9ja Coins and bonus coins for his teammates.
The Veto Power Holder will make a Save and Replace decision on Nomination Night, we hope Seyi is prepared for it.
