The Federal Government has declared Monday, 11th November, as public vacation to mark the 2019 Eid-ul-Mawlud, which is in celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.
The announcement was made through the official Twitter page of the Federal Ministry of Inside, headed by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
The Federal Government has declared Monday November 11, 2019 as Public Holiday to mark the 2019 Eidul-Mawlid Celebration in commemoration of the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). MoI, Ogbeni @raufaregbesola, who made the declaration on behalf of the FG, congratulated Muslim Faithfuls on the event and enjoined them to dwell throughout the virtues and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), that are; love, braveness and perseverance,…including that doing so would assure peace and safety within the nation.Aregbesola expressed confidence that the challenges confronting Nigeria in the meanwhile will quickly be over; and due to this fact referred to as on Nigerians to stay targeted and decided. “With love, commitment, self-sacrifice, patience and patriotism, we will certainly, build a greater Nigeria,” Aregbesola stated.
The Minister restated the Government’s need to make sure a peaceable and safe setting for all Nigerians, urging all residents to pursue love for each other.
