Joselito Velazquez faces Cristofer Rosales in a flyweight bout. A two-time Pan American Games gold medalist, Velazquez (15-0-1) made his pro debut in 2016. After winning 13 in a row to start his career, Velazquez drew with Carlos Mejia in 2021. Velazquez won two in a row following that. In 2021 he beat Gilberto Mendoza via unanimous decision, and in May, he beat Jose Soto via TKO.
Rosales (34-6) made his pro debut in 2013. In 2017, he beat Francisco Gomez Sanchez for the WBC Latino flyweight title. He beat Daigo Higa in 2018 for the WBC flyweight title. Losing the belt against Charlie Edwards later that year, Rosales has since gone 6-2 and is on a two-fight win streak.
