Essiedu could be the perfect Bond candidate. At 33-years-old, the British star could maintain the role of James Bond for years to come, and with his traditional, Shakespearean training, he could certainly bring a certain flair to the man of mystery.
Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said of the up-and-coming star: “Paapa Essiedu was among the standout stars of the latest series of Black Mirror; it’s no surprise punters are once again convinced the 007 job could soon be his.”
Although the London-born star has great odds on becoming 007, he is not guaranteed the spot just yet. In fact, he has some massive competition along the way.
