La Jolla, Calif.-based Fulcrum, a job-placement firm for technical tasks, has raised $1 million in a seed spherical of funding, led by native know-how funding agency Greatscale Ventures with participation from a number of personal co-investors, the corporate stated.

The corporate has what it calls a completely compliant service for hiring freelancers onto technical tasks that had beforehand solely been the purview of full-time staffers — or work that may have been outsourced to expensive consulting companies.

Fulcrum says that its job-placement platform meets the regulatory necessities in 90 international locations and is designed to offer companies the flexibility to design, handle and execute tasks on demand.

The corporate scrapes all marketplaces that freelancers at the moment use and onboards them by way of its personal service in order that they will work successfully with giant companies.
