NEW DELHI/BENGALURU (Reuters) – An Indian court on Friday placed on maintain an antitrust investigation into main e-commerce firms following a problem by Amazon.com Inc, two lawyers concerned within the proceedings informed Reuters on Friday.

The Competitors Fee of India (CCI) final month ordered a probe into Amazon and rival Walmart’s Flipkart over alleged violations of competitors legislation and sure discounting practices.

Amazon this week challenged the investigation in a court in Bengaluru metropolis.

The court on Friday granted a keep on the investigation for 2 months, in line with a lawyer from Indian legislation agency P&A Legislation Places of work, which is representing Amazon.
